Dr. Shant Tamazian is a dedicated dermatologist with a strong connection to the Hudson Valley, proudly serving patients across Rockland and Westchester counties through his work at Hudson Dermatology. Born in Westchester and raised in Nyack, Dr. Tamazian is committed to delivering exceptional, personalized care to the community he calls home. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a pediatric internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Tamazian completed his dermatology training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. During residency, he also led the dermatology course for medical students as Resident Course Instructor, underscoring his passion for teaching and mentorship. Dr. Tamazian will begin seeing patients at our Nanuet office in August 2025.
Dr. Tamazian has authored several peer-reviewed publications in dermatology and maintains an active interest in medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care. He graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa during his undergraduate studies.
Of Armenian and Peruvian heritage, Dr. Tamazian values cultural nuance in his clinical practice. He is known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach and enjoys caring for individuals of all ages and skin types.
