Dr. Campton, MD, FAAD, is a leading board-certified dermatologist serving patients in our Tarrytown office, specializing in cosmetic and medical dermatology for almost 20 years.
She is a graduate of Wellesley College and received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Campton completed her dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical College. After graduating residency at Cornell, she left the States for medical charity work for a year in Indonesia and Cambodia. Upon returning to the US, she honed her cosmetic dermatology skills for over 10 years, working at a prestigious laser and cosmetic center in Manhattan. Covid brought her family to Westchester, where she taught dermatology residents and medical students as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein School of Medicine. She teaches her residents and students dermatology and clinical skills and that “patients will never care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
Professionally, she is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has authored and co-authored numerous publications on treatment of complex dermatologic conditions. Her expertise includes treatments for aging, wrinkles, acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, biologics, cosmetic dermatology, fillers, facial rejuvenation, blood vessels, and vitiligo. Dr. Campton has a true passion for both cosmetic and medical dermatology and the relationship with patients is her top priority. She loves her work and feels “there is no greater feeling than seeing my patients succeed in their recovery”.
