Carlos A. Charles, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and clinical instructor of dermatology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
He attended medical school and completed his internal medicine internship at the Weill Cornell Medical College- New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Charles went on to pursue a research fellowship focused on melanoma and pigmented lesions at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He then concluded his training with a wound healing clinical research fellowship and dermatology residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine- Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Charles has won awards for his original studies on wound healing and infection, as well as for his research on wound healing at the genetic level. He has served as a consultant for national beauty cosmetics brands with a special interest in product development.
Dr. Charles specializes in comprehensive general dermatologic care. He is excited to bring his vast experience in dermatology to his home community in the Hudson Valley and is grateful for the opportunity to care for you.
