Dr. Hendrik Uyttendaele is a board-certified dermatologist and is the founding partner of Hudson Dermatology, P.C. He has been rated by his peers one of the Hudson Valley’s best doctors by Castle Connolly as published by Hudson Valley magazine for 14 years in a row.
Dr. Uyttendaele completed his residency in dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. He graduated with an M.D. from the University of Leuven, Belgium, and received a Ph.D. from Columbia University in New York City. He currently is a clinical instructor at Columbia University’s Department of Dermatology in Manhattan.
Dr. Ross Zeltser is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery and is also a partner in the practice. He graduated and obtained his M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. He has been performing Mohs surgery for Hudson Dermatology patients since 2008 and joined the practice full time in 2017, heading our offices in Somers and Tarrytown and a Mohs surgery center in White Plains. Since 2013, Dr. Zeltser has repeatedly been rated by his peers as one of Westchester’s top doctors by Castle Connolly, whose selections are published by Westchester magazine.
Dr. Zeltser did his residency at the Boston University/Tufts University Dermatology Residency Program, where he was chosen chief resident. He received his board certification in dermatology in August 2006, and trained as a Mohs surgical fellow under the direction of Gary S. Rogers, M.D., at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston from July 2006 through July 2007.
He has had numerous articles published in medical journals and has presented his work before the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Zeltser has also been a clinical instructor at Columbia University’s Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Jeffrey Kezis is a board-certified dermatologist and has been in private practice of dermatology for over 30 years. He founded the dermatology practice that became Hudson Dermatology in 2006.
Dr. Kezis is a graduate of the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency in dermatology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a lifetime member of the American Academy of Dermatology and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Lasha Jaiani is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in dermatology. He has a special interest in skin manifestations of internal disease. He completed his training in medicine at the Yale University affiliated Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Conn., and trained in dermatology at the Institute for Family Health in Kingston, N.Y.
Dr. Jaiani has completed extensive research training in dermatology in fellowships at Emory University in Atlanta and at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is a graduate of Tbilisi State Medical University in Tbilisi, Georgia. He has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Fil Kabigting is a dual board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. He joined Hudson Dermatology after four years as a member of the Columbia University faculty dermatology practice at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He was an assistant professor of dermatology at Columbia, and continues to be a clinical instructor there. He was named a New York Metro Area SuperDoctor in 2019.
Dr. Kabigting treats all conditions of the skin, hair and nails including acne, psoriasis, eczema and skin allergies, practicing in our Kingston, Hudson and Poughkeepsie offices.
Dr. Kabigting graduated from Stanford University, where he majored in human biology, then was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship before attending medical school at the University of California in San Diego. He earned both his M.D. and a master’s in clinical research while at the same time completing a clinical research fellowship at the U.C.S.D.’s Division of Dermatology.
He completed his internship in internal medicine at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital and residency training in dermatology at Mount Sinai/St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where he was selected as chief resident. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Dermatopathology at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology.
Dr. Julie Fridlington is a board-certified dermatologist and joins Hudson Dermatology after nearly 10 years in private practice in Austin, Texas. Dr. Fridlington’s interests include adult and pediatric medical dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, and cosmetic dermatology. She will be treating patients in the Poughkeepsie and Fishkill offices.
Dr. Fridlington received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she also completed her internship in internal medicine and her dermatology specialty training. During her final year of residency, she served as chief resident and was awarded the medical student teaching award for excellence in dermatology instruction.
Dr. Fridlington has been named a Texas Super Doctor-Rising Star in Dermatology by Texas Monthly Magazine multiple times and was named a Top Doctor in Dermatology by Austin Monthly Magazine in 2019.
Dr. Vincent Beltrani is board-certified in dermatology and has been a widely respected dermatologist in the Hudson Valley for more than three decades. He is seeing patients in our Hudson office. Dr. Beltrani most recently enjoyed practicing at Caremount Medical in Poughkeepsie for 11 years, and previously was a partner in his own practice, Dermatology & Allergy Associates of the Hudson Valley.
After graduating from Columbia University in Manhattan, Dr. Beltrani received his medical training and at Albany Medical College and performed his internship at Albany Medical Center. He completed his residency in dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. He has been rated by his peers as one of the Hudson Valley’s top doctors by Castle Connolly as published by Hudson Valley magazine since 2017.
Dr. Beltrani is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, and serves as a clinical instructor in the Department of Dermatology at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. He frequently delivers presentations at medical conferences on skin allergies, skin cancers and other skin conditions, and has published numerous papers on skin cancers and skin diseases in medical journals.
Dr. Grigoriy Mashkevich is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the nose, face, and neck. He is double-board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is U.C.L.A-fellowship-trained.
He received his specialty training in head and neck surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, followed by a year of sub-specialty training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at U.C.L.A.
Dr. Mashkevich graduated with honors from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York after completing his undergraduate degree at Columbia College.
Dr. Mashkevich’s primary practice, Specialty Aesthetic Surgery, is located in New York City. He holds an associate attending affiliation with the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and participates in the education of residents and fellows. He has lectured locally and nationally and has contributed scientific literature to peer-reviewed plastic surgery textbooks and journals.
Kristina Carr is a certified physician assistant with over 27 years of clinical experience. She received her bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and trained as a Physician Assistant at Northeastern University in Boston.
Ms. Carr worked in primary care and various surgical specialties in New England before moving to the Hudson Valley in 1985. She trained in dermatology and dermatologic surgery with Dr. Herbert Goodheart, who retired from the practice in 2010, and worked with him for 11 years while at Kaiser.
Karl Kruszynski, a certified physician assistant, joined Hudson Dermatology in July 2014. He sees patients in our Kingston and Poughkeepsie offices.
Mr. Kruszynski studied and practiced dermatology for seven years under Dr. Marie-Louise Johnson as a physician assistant at Dermatology Services of Kingston and as a fellow at the Institute for Family Health in Kingston. Before that he worked as a physician assistant for more than three years at Hudson Valley Urology.
Mr. Kruszynski received his master of health science and his physician assistant training at Duke University in North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
Isaac Rosenblum is a certified physician assistant who worked in neurovascular surgery, urgent care, family medicine and internal medicine before coming to Hudson Dermatology in early 2016.
Mr. Rosenblum graduated with highest honors from the physician assistant program at Miami Dade College in Florida in 2014.
He came to medicine by an unusual route: he first earned a law degree and practiced as a lawyer for four years. While practicing law, Mr. Rosenblum also trained to be an emergency medical technician, and decided that medical work was his calling.
Olga Kandratsenia Gaskins is a certified physician assistant with more than four years of clinical experience in dermatology. She graduated with bachelor’s degree from the Valdosta State University, and completed her master of science in physician assistant studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
Ms. Gaskins practiced medical and surgical dermatology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for three years. She continued caring for patients as a provider of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology at Keller Army Community Hospital at West Point.
Ms. Gaskins has mentored physician assistant students throughout her career, and during her free time teaches at the Marist College Physician Assistant Program.
Erica Scarrone joined Hudson Dermatology in 2019 after seven years of practicing adult and pediatric dermatology at Brooklyn Dermatology in New York City. She is a certified physician assistant in our Tarrytown office.
She graduated from the Physician Associate Program at Yale University and received her master of medical science degree in 2009. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Boston University.
Ms. Scarrone diagnoses and treats skin, hair and nail diseases in patients of all ages, and she especially enjoys treating children and adolescents.
Abigail Brenkach is a certified physician assistant who has focused on dermatology for more than five years. She practices adolescent and adult medical dermatology in our Kingston, Hudson and Poughkeepsie offices and has an interest in skin cancer prevention. She is also a specialist in cosmetic dermatology.
Ms. Brenkach graduated from Kings College with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies and completed a three-year fellowship through the Institute for Family Health under the tutelage of Dr. Marie-Louise Johnson. She joined Hudson Dermatology in the summer of 2020.
Ms. Brenkach received her cosmetic certification through Aesthetic Medical Educators Training and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is from the Kingston area, where she attended Coleman High School. Ms. Brenkach received her bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College in Boston and played four years of collegiate basketball there. She received the Emmanuel College Scholar Athlete Award.
Ami Dalal is a certified physician assistant with extensive training in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. She joined Hudson Dermatology in February 2021 and sees patients in our Tarrytown and Somers offices.
Ms. Dalal diagnoses and treats skin, hair and nail diseases in patients of all ages, with a special interest in disorders of skin pigment, acne scarring, hair loss and anti-aging. She has an eye for detail and aesthetics and performs many cosmetic procedures including Botox, fillers, microneedling, PRP, chemical peels, and lasers.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Boston University and received her Masters of Science as a Physician Assistant from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She previously practiced for seven years in dermatology in Manhattan, after an initial concentration in general surgery at Tufts Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan.
Courtney Emerson, a certified physician assistant, joins Hudson Dermatology after more than eight years at Caremount Medical. She sees patients in our Kingston and Hudson offices.
Mrs. Emerson practices adult and pediatric medical dermatology and has trained in medical and cosmetic laser treatments. She decided to become a physician assistant after spending a year as a medical assistant, and graduated from Mercy College with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2012. Afterward she traveled on a medical mission to Africa, serving in the only hospital in Bamako, the capital of Mali.
Mrs. Emerson is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and played NCAA collegiate volleyball. She enjoys working out on a Peloton, has played softball since age 4, and is the mother of two toddler boys.
Nicole Valastro is a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist. She provides a range of esthetic services including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, and laser hair removal.
Ms. Valastro received her esthetician license at the Hudson Valley School of Advanced Aesthetic Skincare in 1999. She supervised and instructed students and prepared them for State Board Exams at the school from 2000-2002. She also owned and operated Nicole Valastro Skincare.
In 2002, Ms. Valastro joined Allergy and Dermatololgy Associates of the Hudson Valley as a licensed medical assistant, complimenting her experience in aesthetics with medical experience in dermatology. She now works alongside Dr. Uyttendaele at Hudson Dermatology providing laser treatments, Botox, Radiesse, Restylane and sclerotherapy.
Abby Mandia is a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist. She provides a wide range of esthetic services in our Fishkill office including chemical peels, microdermabrasion and facials. She also operates our excimer laser and TheraClear acne clearing system.
Ms. Mandia graduated from Capri Cosmetology in 2008 and has been with Hudson Dermatology since 2010. In addition to working as an esthetician, Ms. Mandia is also a medical assistant to our doctors, physician assistants, Mohs surgeon and plastic surgeons.
Emily Maier is a licensed esthetician in our Kingston and Poughkeepsie offices. She offers a full range of esthetic services including facials and chemical peels, Dermal Infusion microdermabrasion, TheraClear treatment for acne, excimer laser for psoriasis and vitiligo, laser hair removal, Q-switch laser treatment for nail fungus, and ResurFX and IPL photorejuenation.
Ms. Maier graduated from Ridley-Lowell Technical Institute for Esthetics in Poughkeepsie and the Institute of Allied Medical Professions in Valhalla, where she studied sonography.
Ms. Maier has also worked as a medical assistant to our doctors and physician assistants.
Sharda Bhagwandin is a licensed esthetician specializing in custom facials, peels and laser treatments, and works in our Somers and Tarrytown offices. She is experienced in administering TheraClear acne treatment, excimer laser for psoriasis and vitiligo, Dermal Infusion (SilkPeel) microabrasion, photodynamic therapy, photofacials and light therapy.
Ms. Bhagwandin received her esthetician’s license in 2007 after training at the New York School of Esthetics in White Plains. She has worked as an esthetician with several dermatology and aesthetic practices in Westchester County, and has assisted with Mohs surgery and plastic surgery in addition to her esthetic work.
