Dr. Michael Romano is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care to individuals and families. He enjoys all aspects of dermatology, from medical to surgical to cosmetic, and has a particular passion for complex medical dermatology, including cutaneous lymphoma, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, autoimmune blistering disorders, and severe cases of acne, eczema, psoriasis, and hidradenitis suppurativa.
A native of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Dr. Romano attended Hamilton College in upstate New York before earning his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He completed both his internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, where he trained in the full spectrum of skin disease management.
Now based in southern New York, Dr. Romano lives with his wife and two daughters. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and pursuing a wide range of fitness and outdoor activities. His approachable style, thorough attention to detail, and commitment to patient education help ensure every individual feels heard, supported, and confident in their care.
