Diana Hurwitz, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with over two decades of experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated with honors from Harvard College and earned her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. After completing an internal medicine internship at Yale New Haven Hospital, she went on to complete her dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr.Hurwitz sees patients in our Tarrytown office.
Dr. Hurwitz has a broad range of interests within dermatology, including the treatment of skin cancer, adult dermatology, and cosmetic procedures. She spent nearly twenty years in leadership as Chief of Dermatology at Westchester Medical Group (WestMed) and has been recognized multiple times as one of New York’s top doctors.
Dedicated to a holistic approach to skin health, Dr. Hurwitz is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Andrew Weil Center. She is also the co-founder of Kitchen-Prescription, a cooking and wellness blog focused on the healing power of food. She is the co-author of Strategies to Treat Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis: Everything You Wish Your Doctor Had Told You (available on Amazon), a comprehensive guide that combines medical insight with practical lifestyle strategies to manage inflammation and improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Hurwitz is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
