Hendrik Uyttendaele, M.D. Ph.D.
Dr. Uyttendaele is a board-certified dermatologist and is the owner of Hudson Dermatology, P.C. Dr. Uyttendaele completed his residency in dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of Leuven, Belgium, and Columbia University in New York City. He has been named one of the Hudson Valley’s best doctors by Hudson Valley magazine for three years in a row.
Jeffrey S. Kezis, M.D.
Dr. Kezis is a board certified dermatologist and has been in private practice of dermatology for over 30 years. Dr Kezis is the founder of our dermatology practice.
Dr. Kezis is a graduate of the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency in dermatology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a lifetime member of the American Academy of Dermatology and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
Herbert P. Goodheart, M.D.
Dr. Goodheart is a board-certified dermatologist and has been in private practice of dermatology for over 25 years. He is a graduate of the Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia and completed a residency in dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital, New York City.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Greater New York Dermatological Society. For 20 years, Dr. Goodheart was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. He is now an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai College of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Goodheart is the author of Goodheart’s Photoguide of Common Skin Disorders, whose third edition was recently published, and Acne for Dummies. He also is a contributing editor of Women’s Health in Primary Care, a medical journal for physicians and other healthcare professionals. Vincent S. Beltrani, M.D.
Dr. Beltrani has been in practice for over 38 years, specializing in dermatology and allergy. He received his medical degree from Columbia University. He is board certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Beltrani continues to serve the medical community in many capacities. He is on staff at Vassar Brothers Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center. He is a frequent lecturer and enjoys his teaching appointment at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Beltrani has published numerous articles on both dermatology and allergy.
Kristina Heitzman Carr, P.A.-C.
Kristina Carr is a certified physician assistant with over 27 years of clinical experience.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and trained as a Physician Assistant at Northeastern University in Boston.
Ms. Carr worked in primary care and various surgical specialties in New England before moving to the Hudson Valley in 1985. She trained in dermatology and dermatologic surgery with our colleague Dr. Herbert Goodheart and worked with him for 11 years while at Kaiser.
Tania D. Cohen, P.A.-C.
Tania D. Cohen, certified physician assistant, received her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Marist College before completing the physician assistant program at Albany Medical College. She received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies with a concentration in dermatology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
In addition to her primary care training and experience, Ms. Cohen has studied dermatology in a wide variety of ways. She practiced for seven years with Drs. Vincent Beltrani and Aaron Warshawsky, providing excellent care to their patients. She has also worked in the Emergency Departments of both Vassar Brothers Hospital and St. Francis Hospital.
Ms. Cohen is also a dermatology preceptor for students at Albany Medical Collge physician assistant program. Her interests include the detection and surgical treatment of skin cancer, adolescent and adult acne, as well as cosmetic procedures including Botox and spider vein treatment.
Ross Zeltser, M.D.
Dr. Zeltser is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery. He graduated and obtained his M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. He did his residency at the Boston University/Tufts University Dermatology Residency Program, where he was chosen chief resident. He received his board certification in dermatology in August 2006, and trained as a Mohs surgical fellow under the direction of Gary S. Rogers, M.D., at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston from July 2006 through July 2007.
Dr. Zeltser has had numerous articles published in medical journals and has presented his work before the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Zeltser is currently a clinical instructor at Columbia University's Department of Dermatology.
Stuart M. Zweibel, M.D. Ph.D.
Dr. Stuart Zweibel is a board-certified dermatologist who has been in private practice for 17 years. He specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery at Hudson Dermatology.
Dr. Zweibel is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency in dermatology at Brown University in Providence, R.I., after which he did a fellowship in Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University Medical Center in the Department of Dermatology and he is the Chief of the Department of Dermatology at Northern Westchester Medical Center in Mount Kisco, N.Y.
Nicole Valastro, L.E.
Nicole Valastro is a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist. She offers a range of esthetic services including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, and laser hair removal.
Ms. Valastro received her esthetician license at the Hudson Valley School of Advanced Aesthetic Skincare in 1999. She supervised and instructed students and prepared them for State Board Exams at the school from 2000-2002. She also owned and operated Nicole Valastro Skincare.
In 2002, Ms. Valastro joined Allergy and Dermatololgy Associates of the Hudson Valley as a licensed medical assistant, complimenting her experience in aesthetics with medical experience in dermatology. She now works alongside Dr. Uyttendaele at Hudson Dermatology in providing laser treatments, Botox, Radiesse, Restylane and sclerotherapy.
