Elen Blochin, M.D. Ph.D., has joined Hudson Dermatology and will be practicing in our Tarrytown and Somers offices in Westchester County. She sees patients with all dermatologic conditions and has a special interest in inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and eczema, as well as acne, skin cancer and hair disorders.

Dr. Blochin, a dual board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, completed her dermatology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she served as a chief resident. Prior to that she did a pathology residency at New York University Medical School, followed by a fellowships in oncologic pathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and a dermatopathology fellowship at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology, both in New York City. After completing the dermatopathology fellowship, she remained on faculty and served as a laboratory director at Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology for four years.

While at Eastern Virginia Medical School she continued to practice dermatopathology and direct the laboratory. She has authored several scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national and international meetings. She is a member of American Academy of Dermatology and American Academy of Dermatopathology.
